| Nancy Spungen Nauseating Nancy Spungen, the peroxide, Philadelphian girlfriend of a certain Mr Sidernee Vicious (bass player in the Sex Pistols). Nancy wasn't liked by most of the people who came into contact with her. Her obnoxious whining attitude and dumb reputation for freeloading on the nearest junkie rock 'n' roller in town always preceded her! After a brief sniff around the New York junkie punk scene she followed the Heartbreakers over to the UK at the arse end of '76 like some contagious disease. And swiftly went through the then uncontaminated (by Heroin) virgin London punk scene. She was like a virus! She got shunted by most, but finally ended up with a young impressionable Sid. She fucked him in mind, body and soul thus sealing their untimely fate. Within a few years of them meeting both of em were dead!!! The rest is rock 'n' roll history and well documented in films and books. If you don't know the full story by now you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself and don't forget to hand in your safety-pin as you close the door!...... Gotta admit I quite liked Nancy meself.
