Soo Catwoman
Soo Catwoman (aka Soo Lucas)
was 22 at the time of
this picture
from
late 1976, the frequently
snapped female equivalent to
Johnny Rotten. She was the UK
punk scene's most original natty
dresser. Soo an early
Sex Pistols
devotee became a punk rock style
guru in her own right with her
original catwoman haircut
.
It was cut for her in a barbers
shop in Ealing, London in 1976.
Soo however soon disappeared off
the punk scene as
the Pistols
imploded in America, and settled
down to become a mother. She
was portrayed in the 'The Great
Rock 'n' Roll Swindle' by a young
unknown actress called Judy. She
did made a rare TV appearance on
Channels 4's 'Top Ten Punk'
programme sporting braids. These
days she has her own website
which features even more pics so

BACK TO FRONTPAGE
She appeared on the front cover of Sex
Pistols
short lived 'Anarchy In The UK' mag.
Which was sold at concerts on the Anarchy
In The UK' tour.

The magazine was made by the band to
promote them and the music and the fashion
that went with the punk movement. There are
lots of pictures of the pistols playing and
there are lots of pictures of the faces that
followed them.
