| Patti Smith Poet / Artist / Legend A very young Patti Smith caught here in the early 70's when she was rooming with Robert Mapplethorpe who also took the shot. Mappleworth worked primarily and almost exclusively in black and white. His body of work features a wide range of subjects, but his main focus and the greater part of his work is erotic imagery. Its a slightly surreal pose swinging a hammer with a bangle on some chain. I found it somewhere don't ask where I forgot? Any ideas on what it all means? Answers on a postcard to Detroit please!
