| Go one Jim, you tell em where they can shove their Artistic licence. Jimmy Pursey gives the camerawoman (Erica Echenberg) her tuppence worth of logic back down the Roxy in late 1977. A time when Sham 69 were supporting the likes of Menace. But within 6 months of this picture being taken Sham 69 were signed up by Polydor Records and were about to begin the roller coaster ride of a lifetime. Within 2 decades Sham 69 songs would appear on McDonald's adverts. And you know what.... the band are still a gigging entity. Jimmy registered the name Sham 69 as a registered trademark in 2012 despite this 2 versions of the band were gigging under the same name in recent years.
