"Suicide Bag!!!"
17 Year old George (real name Alison) was part Isreali and
an office temp for Scotch tapes by day (not forgetting she
also lived next door to the then Tory MP Jack Payne), but by
night she let rip her piercing high pitched yelp for a punk
band called Action Pact. These early 80's Stainwell, UK
punks tasted Alternative Chart success and done a few Peel
sessions. They released two LP's and a handful of singles,
but by 1985 after the fallout from the second punk boom was
settling and with a suitably named record label like Fallout
Records they split. And were soon but a faded myth till
America's youth rejuvinated em on the back of a thousand
leather jackets. George is pictured here circa 82 in Punk
Lives magazine..
