Mish Bondage pictured here in 1981 in the all girl punk band the Braspmears which were Portland's answer to the Slits with lots of instrument swapping, borrowed gear and with songs like 'Crabs', 'Fuck Around', 'Sadistic Gymnastics' and 'Shes Just a Cunt' thrown out on numerous support slots to Poison Idea. They released one obscure live CD set recorded at Portland's Long Goodbye club in 1981 which is worth tracking down if you can. By the end of '81 they had gone their seperate ways. Mish went on to infamy fronting Sado-Nation who are still releasing obscure product today! |
