STREET DEED #3
Eye catching Bulgarian hardcore punk fanzine here, what looks absolutely fantastic. This zine really does capture the essence of a good cut 'n' paste punk layout, and will have you enthralled in it's inventive A4 Layout, that reminds me of zines like Bugs N Drugs but with a Defiant Pose attitude. Featuring an array of bands and my fave cartoonist Robert Crumb. There's a lotta effort and style put into this publication, but there's just one problem... it's written in Bulgarian, so with other great European publications like Plastic Bomb (German) it will only appeal to the local Bugarian punk scene because illiterate uncultured limeys like me can't read the lingo. However Kamen, its enthusiastic editor has included some English segments in issue #3 and more are promised for future Issues. If you want a copy, are into punk or can speak Bulgarian, I suggest you check it out pronto! Kamen promises a Bulgarian punk scene report he offered to include on this site, so look forward to reading that if its in

ALTERNATIVE INSIGHT
Lost in Room focusses on the first four years of Mark P's (Alternative TV) musical path, beginning with ‘Love Lies Limp’ and ending as the first version of the group collapsed soon after 1981’s Strange Kicks album and Mark’s joining The Reflections. Along the way are tours with Chelsea, Here & Now and The Pop Group, a huge love of Frank Zappa, a meeting of minds with the late Genesis P-Orridge, the running of Step-Forward Records and working for Miles Copeland’s Faulty Products network of labels, plenty of anecdotes about the world he was embroiled in, and the story behind the records themselves.
The book will have around 360 pages.

EVER FALLEN IN LOVE
THE LOST BUZZCOCKS TAPES
Is a BUZZCOCKS book due out in June
2021 detailing the stories, inspiration and times behind the great songs Pete Shelley wrote while fronting band the band. Close Friend and author Lou Shelley (no relation) explains what the book is about..."The book I wrote with Pete is, indeed, in the 'Song By Song' format, and I was inspired to write it after reading the Hugh Cornwell SBS and also the Squeeze one. It seems like a such a simple format and it's relatively easy to write because the narrative just unfolds naturally, in chronological order - but it also makes a very satisfying read. Pete said stuff in those interviews that hasn't been said before and he seemed pleased that at last someone was asking him about how the songs came to be written! It's also very 'visual', and will include loads of photos, many of which haven't been seen before." Sounds great!

MAXIMUMROCKNROLL #430
Really sad to hear one of punks major punk publications is finally calling it a day. The next 3 months March-May 2019 will see the last 3 printed issues of MRR published which PUNK
ROCKER has ordered and will review in due course. This publication has brought thousands if not millions of international punk coverage over its 3 decades of punk installments from issue one back in July 1982 to now. It's monthly newsprints were always a good read whatever style of punk floated your boat. They were nauseating, funny , sychophant, inspiring, too pc for its own good informative and resolutely politically charged, but highly entertaining.
However all is not lost it won't be disappearing completely, an online presence and Archive is gonna be available and its going to still cover bands but with an online presence only. Ain't got a clue who any of the bands are this issue, they're all new to
me? Just buy the fucker and find out before its too late coz you'll eventually miss that newsprint on your fingers!!!
$4.99
You can also order this issue by mail by

Mexico, or $11 worldwide to:

RAZORCAKE #108
First issue ive ever brought of Razorcake in its 19 years existence. ive read other peoples issues and even had reviews in there, but this is my first official copy and features one of my
fave bands Amyl And The Sniffers which was the major attraction plus you get Steve Ignorant of Crass and No Love from Raleigh and One Punks guide to free jazz? Plus an array of columnists, reviews art and views. It's changed a bit since the last issue i read, but so far looks a good read and hopefully will take MRR's place in my staple US zine coverage.
