| This image in case you didn't already know is one of Vivienne Westwoods and Malcolm McLrens most inspired Sex Pistols designs dating from 1976. It took its phallic inspiration from Gay Finland artist Tom who used to create imagery exaggerating parts of the anatomy aimed at its target audience, usually Gay men. However this design seems to still cause outrage. I got barred from a pub for wearing one about 7 years ago and im sure other punks have had similar experiences. This along with the Destroy top works if you still wanna shock people. And was immortalised in punk by Sid Vicious during his summer tour of Sweden. |
