Promotional ad for the B-Side of 'Something Else' released in February 1979 designed by Jamie Reid. According to Virgins official record sales released in 1980 this was the biggest selling Sex Pistols record to date as its release coincided with the death of Sid Vicious earlier that month. The Swindler comic was a ficticious prop used in the 'Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle' film in the cinema foyer sequence. Featuring a cartoon from the closing credits sung rowdily by Steve Jones. The comic did however become a reality when a couple of young Scottish Sex Pistols fans released a fanzine of the same name in the mid 80's which run for a handful of issues. Artist unknown? |
