Over the last 40 plus years, Punk has become either a threat to civilization, a big
fucking joke or an alternative to the sad state of pop music.
It's been heralded as a destroyer of bland conservatism or a pariah for our
nations youth. Documented in films, books and on record by 3 generations and
counting. It has become either a parody or another money spinner for big
business along the way. It's also still the best underground free form musical
expression in this day and age. Punk has had more rejuvenation's and more new
messiahs than any other musical cult in existence. But whatever we think of it, it
will just not go away. This page will be incorporating some of it's effects on
mainstream culture back then and now. And also taking a look at the punk culture
itself from various locations across the globe.

So do you still wanna be a punk?.....
