little uncomfortable for a novice rider who didn't take speed bumps
seriously...i do now!)
Stem Ahead aluminium stem
Weight 14.75 kg
(PDC - Weights not bad for lifting over secure bike stands for that
ultimate security lock or over gates if you get locked out)

(PDC - Top marks for suspension especially for drop curbs and the
ocassional full curb or road pothole)
Wheels
Hubs Alloy with Q/R
Rims Double wall alloy rims
Wheel Size 26"
(PDC - Only problem with the wheels is my off-road tyre tread is too
chunky for ultimate grip, and can be a little dodgy going up deep drop
curbs. But too lazy to get a new set yet. Only pumped them once in 12
months) Had one puncture so got new puncture resistant innertubes
which touch wood will save my bacon.
Security
( PDC - I use a Raleigh Protector 200 Shackle Lock endorced by Jack
Hateleys bike shop of Wolverhampton, coz its the same lock they use to
lock up the shop )
SUMMARY - Only come off it twice 15 months, but suffered badly bruised
ribs and it spoilt my 2009 Xmas on the first fall. However was my own
fault after 6 pints and biking home in the dark from the pub in black ice
conditions tut tut). It's purely a working bike for me, but very neat and
robust for its six mile a day journey.
