| April 2002 I have just heard the sad news that after a seizure, original Dogshit Sandwich and Assert drummer Chris Burleigh, died yesterday afternoon. Dispite the best efforts of paramedics, Chris could not be revived. Chris was a very friendly and harmless guy, he never had a bad word to say about anyone and it was always a pleasure to see him do well with Assert after leaving DSS. He had a great passion for music and was one of the most talented drummers I have ever worked with. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with his loving parents Dell and Steve, and bandmates Britt, Ryan, Sean and Adders.
