THE MEFFS (LATEST)
Another outfit I found on Bandcamp this time featuring a guitarist/singer and drummer. They hail from Essex and are literally blowing up the scene with their highly addictive punk with tunes and not a screamer or grunter in sight. They remind me of a female Sham 69.

DRAGSTER
There weren't many punk bands with a special kind of aura but thankfully Dragster had it in spades. They were one of the tightest units on the scene. Their calling card is fast, brutal, dirty, punk, which is addictive, dark tuneage and is always welcome!

ANTIBODIES
Harlow's Antibodies maybe in hibernation but they left us with 'New Year Zero' which has been on my playlist since the promo tracks were sent my way many moons ago. Featuring 14 old and reworked tunes, plus a plethora of new bacterial material to eradicate from these highly infectious concrete rockers.

THE BIPS
From the ashes of the superb Love Kills comes the ressurected dutch pioneers The Bips. They incorporated that early 80's grit with their new 21st century attack. Like a lot of bands they had to resort to Facebook which is a shame as their former site had some great design which was always a treat!

CONTEMPT
These contemptuous fuckers have been kickin' out protest punk rock tunes for over 40 years now. The band came together out of the ashes of 3 Wolverhampton based Punk bands Vendetta, Seventh Plague and Pulex Irritans in '84 and have since gone on to tour all over the UK and in Europe.

DOGSHITE
Great new band I just discovered whilst trawling the net. I'd seen their name at the bottom of bills round the London area and thought fantastic name, but when I just by chance heard 'em on bandcamp was blown away they sound terrific! Gotta get their album. So check em out now, if they come up the midlands I definitely will.

ROB FILTHS
It's a crying shame Rob's art website ain't no more. He like a legion of other mis-unfortunates has took up refuge on the seedy backstreets of Facebook city. At least you can still cop an eyeful of his fantastic cartoons from from one of the few London punks who can still cause old women to reach for their angina pills. That's if you can withstand his cheesy political views and god awful taste in music these days.

Been a long time coming, but this highly missed Anarchy and Equality broadsheet zine makes a welcome web presence, all be it in Facebook after the official site was shutdown. There's a load of classic shots/art included to wet your appetite, but Chris(tine) promises to archive the zines massive 20 year print existence (87-07) when time prevails. Includes current views, news, pics and reviews.

WOLVERHAMPTON PUNKS
Local facebook page focussing on the Wolvo punk history and current punk bands which doesn't get enough exposure for my liking. Geared more to the Anarcho set of bands and run by like minded individuals but has a little too much PC patronage for my liking. Great for up and coming locals gigs and info!
