FEAR AND LOATHING
Fantastic at long last that this long bastion of British punk
print has made the giant leap to the internet with a really
justifiable web presence, that literally brings out the beef in
glorious colour. From past issues to present it continues to
keep apace of its lovingly made A4 printed presence. Eternal!
KILL YOUR PET PUPPY
A massive interactive online punk presence with the fantastic
'Kill Your Pet Puppy' web archive thats literally jumped since
2007. It features a fascinating collection of punk views and
lots of people’s photos, scans of printed material, down
loadable music and written contributions. You could literally
spends hours on this fucker. Ripping Yarns!
MAXIMUMROCKNROLL
Well it was only a matter of time before this legendary San
Francisco rag hit the webspace. Most of the info is from older
issues but it's still worth checking out and now its no more a
printed zine its a punk calling whether your a fan or not.
To The Max!
NO CLASS
Returning from the abyss is this early 80's UK punk zine and
label that now gets a slick web presence bringing together
some interesting interviews from it's 12 issue backlog and
more to be added no doubt. Not been updated for a while Class A!
RAZORCAKE
Massive fanzine online from the well touted American
publication. Neat easy to navigate layout, with lots of
controversial reviews, columns and rants and covers the
beter bands in the scene. But still a bit too PC for OUR
Nihilistic tastes. Razors In The Night!
RIPPED AND TORN
A really neat fanzine archive of one the UK's original punk
fanzines where you get a snapshot of all the back issues,
there's links and offers of being a contributing writer, so don't
be put off by its bland website presence coz if you delve the
proof of the pudding is in the eating. Not been updated for a
while I suggest buying the book everything is in there.
Plastic Surgery is so plastic!
SCANNER
The slick online version of this well put together Ipswich (now
New Zealand) based fanzine. Steve don't seem to have lost
his pen writing skills as he covers a wealth of punk and
individual writings with news reviews and intelligent articles.
Critical Examination!
SLUG AND LETTUCE
Been a long time coming, but this highly missed Anarchy and
Equality broadsheet zine makes a welcome web presence, all
be it in baby steps. There's a load of classic shots/art
included to wet your appetite for the moment, but Chris(tine)
promises to archive the zines massive 20 year print existence
(87-07) when time prevails. And eventually hopes to include
current views, news, pics and reviews. Not been updated for a while. D.I.Y.!
SUSPECT DEVICE
Long running UK fanzine that isn't scared to dabble on the
web. In fact its web presence is a lot better than the actual
zine. You can sample reviews, interviews and a host of other
back issues from this eye catching portal. Don't Be Bitten Twice!
