August 4th: Get an E-mail today from Chuck at Hyped To Death records. Seems like he's a big fan of the Stench and has put 'Nonce's' onto a Bad Teeth punk compilation. The past comes back to haunt me yet again. Check out his site www.hyped2death.com coz it's a great historic punk document for all those shitty little bands like Stench who were too wild or basic or crap to keep it together.
August 7th: Just got a strange link from Christian (THREAT BY EXAMPLE) zine. And there appears to be a big 'No Future' summit at Wolverhampton University. Covering all aspects of Punk Rock from the last 25 years. It's got an exhibition of Caroline Coon's photography, gigs, zines and guest speakers including Penny Rimbaud ex-Crass drummer. So that should be worth checking out. Strange Wolvo is hosting it? Full review up when it happens so check out the 'Good Noose' pages in a day or two. Can't get near the PC tomorrow so more updates on Thursday or Friday.
August 11th: Get the latest edition of Scanner in today (see REVIEWS) and by golly is it a big thick looking chunky read!!! This is gonna take a while to get through.! So Steve if your reading, the review is up as soon as I've read it OK. Wolves draw to Portsmouth but the SHIT lose tee hee!
August 17th: Had a tooth out today and i feel like Mike Tyson just smacked me in the gob. It took the dentist 3 cartridges of whatever it is to numb my jaw. And wasn't even allowed a quick pint after duuuh. Well that ain't my biggest problem...my system has been really slow lately and I've tried every trick in the book. My last resort is deleting some sound files...fingers crossed.
August 18th: Yippeee seems like it's been fixed but I wont be tempting fate just yet. Oh yeah my mouth is a lot better so it's time for more updates I suspect.
August 21st: Jeeeezzzz these last few days have been a right pain. My computer spluttered to a halt and was barely able to send E-mails out without taking a whole LP of Motorhead to post!!! So I thought my number was up. But sacrifices have to be made in our hour of need and a cull was called for. So in a last bid attempt to gain some dignity I deleted a few FTP programs I had on standby just in case I ever needed em in future....and BANG! it's back on par. But I won't be getting a crate of Carling in to celebrate just yet, coz this happened last week and within 2 days I was back in Mandrax alley. Oh yeah Tripod weren't running on a full tank either so if you couldn't access this site for about 48 hours take it up with them. Normal service is now resumed.....Fingers crossed!!!!!!!
August 23rd: Got a parcel today from Chuck at hyped2death with a great comp. CD of old UK bands. (see REVIEWS)
August 24th: More booty arrives in the Wolf's Lair and it's over 12 months late but on first impressions well worth the wait...Soap And Spikes zine......review up soon.
SEPTEMBER
September 1st: Fucking hell England slaughter Germany 5-1 tonight and it's the biggest win we had over the Bosch since 1933. Record sales of alcohol were sold in supermarkets all over the country!!!
September 9th: Started work on the 20th Century Punk Archives site. Nothing to get excited about just thought I'd tell ya!
September 11th: Fucking hell some bad crack in New York today!!! Terrorism in the worse possible scenario. Lots of bad news for thousands of people! The possible repercussions
look very bad indeed!!!!! Puts everyday problems into triviality!
September 17th: I'm off to London tomorrow for the 100 Club punk bash. So this site won't be updated till Friday or Saturday and e-mails if you want a
fast reply I'll be doing it the weekend cheers. Full review and pix up as soon as I get the film developed
.
September 18th: I've been in London approximately 5 hours and already had a fight with some drunken Yuppie. But despite that manage to see 4
bands on the opening night. Good turnout but the bands were poor. Not the best start but hey that's punk. Cheapest pint £1.79 by Bakers Street
tube. Most expensive £2.50 in the 100 Club.
September 19th: Good gig tonight and the day was spent touring the pubs in Tottenham Court Road. Found an happy hour just off Oxford Street
£1.50 a pint. Lots of paranoia on the streets but it don't feel as though a war could break out yet!!!! Meet lots of punk faces tonight and get some good
pix which Paul one of my drinking buddies is gonna send over soon.
Best bands were 999 and Tenpole Tudor. Full review up soon.
September 20th: Get back from London today and sadly a day earlier than expected. Reason being I run outta cash. Had a good day yesterday though

a day to recuperate.

London review, so Paul if your reading this hope you ain't lost that camera!!!
OCTOBER
October 1st: After signing on today I went and had a look at the Caroline Coon punk photo exhibition in Wolves. Not fucking bad considering I'd seen 80% of the pic's elsewhere, but some good rare shots of Mr Rotten skinning up, the Clash in Belfast and the Slits on the White Riot Tour. I was tempted to lift a few and show em on the site coz I didn't have my camera...but eh I'm law abiding these days tee hee!
October 7th: 26 days later the strikes begin on Afghanistan at 5.30 GMT. Dunno what's in store but you can bet this will dominate the worlds news for the foreseeable future. Other news been working like a whore on the '20th Century Punk Archives' site all weekend...hopefully out for Christmas if there is one this year!
October 10th: Pig sick today as I can't get no money for the Brezhnev gig in Brum tonight grrrrrrrrrrrr. Well lads hope the tour goes well and you cause a good reaction which I'm sure you'll manage to do.
October 14th: Wolves remain the only team in Division 1, 2 and 3 to stay unbeaten....."TOP TOP TOP TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!!"
October 17th: Finally get the pix back today from the 100 Club! They turned out pretty good, pity they don't transfer to page so good. The full review is now up so take a look here for yerself. Might add more on a separate page if I can enhance the quality...cheers Paul your cheque is in the post when I get the stamp.
October 25th: Draw with the Shit! Loads of bovver apparently. Regain our top of the league placeing by just one point good enough for me!!!
NOVEMBER
November 12th: More tragedy in New York as another plane goes down in the Rockaway Beach area made famous in the Ramones song! Seems early indications say it's a technical fault? Kabul in the Afghanistan war gets taken and my phone bill arrives the lowest one yet!!!! As usual pretty quiet on the punk front but just had a big batch of new CD's in with reviews up shortly. Thug Murder are a great new Jap band so look out for more on them soon plus more reviews.
November 28th: Witnessed a slice of history tonight, first and last time I seen The Prefects. And although wasn't expecting to get overly excited I was glad to
hear 'Barbarellas' and 'Bristol Road Leads to Dachau' in the flesh. Full review up on the gig page soon.

December 2nd: Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

APRIL
April 15th: Got a phone call today informing me my old mate Anarchy Sid from the Wolverhampton Punx days was found dead in a Canterbury homeless shelter recently.
Sounds like drugs was the cause. Well it didn't really surprise me coz he was a wreckless character but an undeniably unique punk. Never met any punk quite like Sid.
And i'll miss having one last drink with him!!! Cheers Sid for some good times!!!!
April 16th: Just found out the Dickies gig tomorrow in Brum is off!!!!! ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! My first punk gig of the year and the promoters fuck up. Well I guess I better go
and blow all this money in my skyrocket around Wolverhampton's surviving decent boozers. It just ain't fair is it? Oh yeah if that ain't enough. I just got a memo from
my Homestead landlord demanding money!!!! Coz yeah I'm afraid HOMESTEAD sitebuilder is gonna start to charge for their services booooo hissssss!!!!!! I should
find out whether this site is still gonna be here or not by this time next month!!!!!! Read the 'Good Noose!' section for the full deal. On a high note just finished a new
Don't Care retort all about the demon drink, so that should be up tomorrow along with the recent Minehead gig review which will hopefully be finished over the weekend
if I don't get too drunk!!
April 18th: Fucking hell just learned of another death!!!!!! This time Joey Ramone lead singer in New York punk legends The Ramones.......
Here Today, Gone Tomorrow! (Full obituary page will be up in the next few hours).
July ... NEW SQUAT - NEW DECOR - NEW PROFANITIES
July 27th: Start putting the finishing touches to the new web site after having been given the final marching orders from Homestead.
Couldn't get a credit card being on the dole, but in the long run I think I fell on my feet. It's early days yet but Tripod mein new host
seem to be the best one yet that I can suss out. And of course with the option of off-line building I'm in my element.Just getting the
first few basic pages up.
July 31st: Finally get my site address sorted out and its a lot better than the Fortune City one which had violins and tinpan's on the Fucker!
AUGUST
August 1st: Get a hit counter up, although it's early days but I wanna keep track. Guest books and message board coming soon.
August 2nd: Get confirmation ill be going to London's 100 Club punk festival in September. Cheers to Paul from Bristol for tickets and beer
excursions.
August 3rd: At long last get the SITES FOR SORE EYES page up. It took about 3 hours to write all the names down and transfer em to the site, a chore but well worth it. Copied Erin some cassettes, replied to various E-mails and traced some Ex-Pistols info for Karl from SUMMER OF HATE webzine. Start messing around with the Don't Care layout. I think Paint Shop Pro 7 is a great tool. I discover something good on there every session.
