JANUARY
January 1st: New Year, new hopes, new dreams! Yeah but I don't live in a Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale or do I? Whatever, hope this ones better than last year apart from a couple of things that I wouldn't wanna change tee hee! Last year flew past at a rate knots unknown since maybe when the Pistols played the laff. You could literally blink and it was gone! Well at least we ain't got no Tsunami to deal with this year, just another cold, wet, grey start so it looks like we'll kick off as we mean to go on eh, in our usual pessimistic state! Some things never change cheers!
January 8th: Finished designing the lyric insert for the Torcha Shed split 45 with California's Neon Maniacs today and posted it off. Hopefully it might make an appearance sometime this year. Bet the suspence is kiilling ya!
January 14th: Get a sneak preview of the forth coming Killing Joke album called 'Hossannas From The Basement Of Hell' and I gotta say from this rough mix alone its sounding as deadly as the previous Killing Joke album. I think we could have another punk classic on our hands! Cheers Welshy!!!
FEBRUARY
February 1st: Get asked by Thompa from Inglorious Bastards outta Sweden to design their split 45 with The Confession. It makes a change to jump into the cut 'n' paste world of graphic sleeve design and Im looking forward to see how much I can actually get away with. He's gimme all the info, the songs and the lyrics so it'll be intresting to see what happens. Hope it gets em banned or maybe even noticed. The end results will be displayed somewhere I'm sure so I've got a deadline of March 17th.
February 3rd: Get a visit off the old Stench drummer Daz today and he gives me a 16 track CD full of old Stench demos I ain't heard since the early 80's. They still sound as rough as the day we recorded 'em so don't worry a Stench reformation ain't on the cards, but it was an amusing glimpse into our sordid past.
February 18th: Latest edition of Riot On Your Own fanzine arrives in which Billy points out I forgot him in my January thanks list. Whoops i knew i
was missing someone, so apologies Bill, I'll make up for it by giving you a fitting tribute on the front page so look out for it in the next few days
and the review will be posted up soon....cheers mate!!!
February 23rd: Welcome to Trixie, latest addition to the Don't Care dynasty.
February 25th: Just heard news that the Stench reissue is at the record plant so might have some copies within a month.

Pure Punk Records.
JUNE
June 4th: Start putting some serious time into a Rubella Ballet fan site I've been meaning to put together since late last
year. I found it amazing no-one had created something on line to celebrate their Dayglo presence in the punk scene
and now I've finally made contact with the band via their myspace page and they're actually happy about it. I can
commence with haste. Rubella Ballet despite popular belief have not gone away, just went off doing other things
interesting involving film but they are looking set to be playing live again very shortly with a fluorescent
collaboration on the cards!
June 5th: Fayne your the BEST!!!!!! I've just uploaded Paint Shop Pro X and its working a treat!!!! No more poxy 30
day trials with inferior product. And a big cheers for saving me £80 quid bab!!!!
June 6th: Well it might be the birth of the Antichrist today but I had my own litte bundle to deal with coz despite hurricanes,
15ft high ocean waves and Parcel Force, the long awaited consignment of STENCH and TORCHA SHED vinyl arrived
this morning and immaculate they look too.
June 9th: This week just can't get any better for its the start of the World Cup 2006 and I plan on watching every fucking
match!
JULY
July 2nd: AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
July 3rd: Well at least something good come my way to take my mind off Englands dismal World Cup performance. I got me new
digital camera today and its wicked and so much easier to use from the few test shots ive done. Can't wait to test it out at a gig.
July 21st: Finally manage to post out some records I promised a few mates today, more to come
so if you've been waiting dont fear, you aint been forgotten just run outta stamps. Oh and cheers
to Steve Cabbage for sending that hilarious Stench review from MRR.
July 29th: Really getting to grips with the Rubella Ballet site in between NOTP, despite this fuckin
sweltering heatwave. I should have it ready to launch well before the October deadline i set meself.
In between that, been doing some Anarcho research through my archives and its suprising what
you uncover. All will be revealed soon.
AUGUST
August 2nd: Looking forward to this weekends gig in Brum to finally road test out my new camera
and actually see a punk band play live, coz its been fucking months im ashamed of meself. But lo

you wave me goodbye!
August 18th: Missed Combat Shocks first and last gig in Brum grrrrrrr!
SEPTEMBER
September 2nd: Manage to keep my annual appointment at the Birmingham Punks Picnic and by a stroke of genius or maybe dodgy lager?...having arrived about 6'ish managed to stay sober enough for the whole fucking event!!! Which is a first or should read thirst? Got pix of all the bands in action to prove it, and a review will be posted shortly.
September 10th: LEEDS 0 WOLVES 1 thats more fuckin' like it!!!!
September 12th: Signing on again today.... wish me luck!!! Also a BIG warm welcome for Kim Misery from Seattle whose flew 6,000 miles to witness the grimy depravation they call Wolverhampton and will hopefully survive to tell the tale.
September 24th: Launch the Rubella Ballet fan site today (SADLY NOW OFFLINE) which incorporates a biography, discography, reviews, interviews and images from their dayglo career should build up into a large resource for anyone interested in the band. It had the bands full approval.
OCTOBER
October 5th: Fuckin Royal Mail eh! I can post stuff all over the world and it actually arrives! But if i wanna post probably the most important birthday card in someones life aproximately 12 miles away, the wankers can't deliver or some cunt robbed it gggggrrrrrrrr!!!! Well for what its worth happy 21st Birthday Fayne... ill make it up to you somehow!
October 18th: Manage to finally dish out all the Stench 45's to all the band members. But just in case theres any interested partys craving for some badly played noise pollution I still have a few from my consignment left.
October 21st: I dunno whether Nat from Neon Maniacs put a curse on me camera but as soon as i took a shot of him on his current UK tour me fuckin' camera broke! Oh well all you panting punkettes will just have to imagine what he looks like ....Trilby, Leather, Clash badge, hyper activity and a jolly good laff. He also drinks Strongbow!
October 22nd: Arggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOVEMBER
November 27th: Start of another poxy get you a job waste of taxpayers money course that the Dole blackmail you into attending with threats of cutting your money. Lifes looking grim as I have another 3 months of this crap and the fucking geezer in charge is like some sort of Victorian bully. I can see me having to grind him down over the next few months. Another Christmas skint is looking a decidedly grim prospect.
November 29th: Attend a job interview for some casual work at the Royal Mail and to my delight get it! This will enable me to get out the poxy Steps To Work course and gimme my first Christmas in a decade with some cash in my skyrocket maybe there is a god up there. And I found this through myself not steps to work say no more.
November 30th: Attend Royal Mail induction I think I'm gonna like this job! Start work on Monday at 6!!!!

Well my career in the Postal service is over for this year, but I make sure I go out with a bang, hit the Tap 'N' Spile at 12 noon and fall into a taxi approximately 12 hours later 'Meet Me In The George Bar' and 'Fuck A Nun' were blasted out along the way....MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
